for the Chronically 111 at Smyrna. She was born February 16, 1915 in Washington, Rappahannock County where she lived until 1964 when she moved to Delaware.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mary Dennis of Viewtown, Mrs. Mildred Riley of Gainesville and Mrs. Peggy Parmley of Brownsburg, Ind.; five sons, Harvey Thomas Smoot ofMarydel, Del., William Russell and Raymond Lester Smoot, both of Sperryville, Taylor Wilson Smoot, Clearwater, S.C. and Bunnie Shelton Smoot of Millington, Md.; 28 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Edward Foster of Washington and James Foster, Flint Hill; a sister, Mrs. Florence Burke of Washington.
A funeral service was held in Dover and interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Camden, Del.
