Chester Gap Fire Department was called to the Point of Woods one foggy evening last week to extinguish a chimney fire. The Chester Gap Rescue Squad took Mr. Strother from Front Royal to the Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va., Monday night. □

Bloodmobile
The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at the Marshall Firehouse in Marshall on Thursday, April 22, from 12 to 5:45 p.m. Two area families are in need of replacement Mood. All healthy persons between the ages of 17 and 66 are eligible to give blood. A period of 56 days is required between donations.
