A tour of Historical Fredericksburg is being planned by the Homakers Clubs of Rappahannock County through the Extension Service. Thursday, May 8 has been selected as tour date with a bus leaving the county at 8 a.m. and returning, at 6 p.m.
Sites to be visited on the selfguide walking tour are the Bicentennial Visitors Center, Historic Fredericksburg Museum, Hugh Mercer Apothecary Slop, Rising Sun Tavern, James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library, Mary Washington House, Historic Stoner’s Store and Kenmore.
