Town election
Residents of the Town of Washington will select a mayor, treasurer and five-member town council in an election next Tuesday, May 4. One candidate each for Mayor and treasurer is on the ballot, Peter Kramer and Virginia G. Miller, respectively.
There are nine candidates seeking the five council seats. They are Dorothy Clater, Bradford Fisher, C.E. Giles Jr., Robert Haase, Dorothy Hawkins, Charlie Jenkins, June Jordan, Charles Manson and H.T. Updike. □
