Alumni weekend
Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Baines of Ben Venue and Mrs. R. Philip Irwin of Flint Hill were in Farmville over the weekend to attend the annual Alumni Weekend and Founders Day at Longwood College. Mrs. Baines and Mrs. Irwin were 1966 graduates of the college.
The dedication of the recital hall in the Wygal building and an All-American Musical by the college concert choir were among the highlights of the day Saturday, as well as the alumni luncheon and reception.□
