Mrs. Russell Hudson and Jennifer, who have been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Powers, left Monday to join Mr. Hudson at their new home in Switzer, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill were guests for the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Winfrey Thornhill in Manassas. They were joined for dinner Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill and Melanie. Callers Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Weaver were Mrs. Winnie Moats of Alexandria and Mr. and Mrs. George Tidier of Culpeper. Mrs. Hazel Barfield and granddaughter Debbie were supper guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barfield and John in Berryville.

Alfred Jenkins has returned home after being a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

LC Paul Fincham of Camp LeJeune, N. C. spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. John Lamb and family.

Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jenkins were Mrs. Betty Foster and Curtiss of Sterling Park.

Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Waverly Kennedy Sunday were Mrs. James Minnis and Criss, Mr. and Mrs. John Coates of Culpeper, Mrs. Onley Kennedy of Etlan and Mrs. Edith Green.

Luncheon guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Butler were Mr. and Mrs. Markwood Butler, Jason and Mark of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. George Butler Jr. of Culpeper, Danny Sims and Mr. and Mrs. George Butler Sr. Afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson of Woodville.

Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hawkins and Karen of Middlesboro, Ky. were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hawkins and Mrs. Ertha Hawkins.

Friday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Peyton were Mr. and Mrs. Loring Anderson and Karen Sue of Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Giles and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill spent the weekend in Blacksburg and attended the Livestock Show at V.P.I.

Mrs. Carroll Jenkins was honored with a birthday party Sunday at the home of Reuben Taylor in Sperryville. Irvin Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Buster Jenkins attended also.
