COUNTY residents are invited to visit the outdoor pavilion at the Rappahannock County Recreation Center on Wednesday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are urged to use this facility during the months ahead.
The pavilion is located on Route 211 near Washington. Playground equipment will be donated by the Rappahannock Women’s Club and will be available for use soon.
Horseshoe pits are being constructed by the Rappahannock Lions Club. These pits will meet the standards for tournament play. When funds become available other facilities will be developed.
