Mrs. Lee Thornton III and son, Philip. Mrs. Maurice Manuel of Browntown was a Sunday afternoon caller of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Varner. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland and daughter, Becky of Portsmouth were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wayland. Additional dinner guests Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wayland of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Wayland and Mr. and Mrs. Carson Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. A. Q. Craun of Orange and Mrs. C. S. Butler were visitors in the afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sims of South Carolina were guests from Friday to Sunday of Mrs. J. B. Perkins, Cindy and Douglas Cumins.

Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman, Jr. and Mrs. David V. Chapman of Richmond visited friends here on Monday.

Mrs. Roy L. Reeve entertained the Shenandoah National Park Wives Bridge Club at her home last Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Markwood Butler and sons, Mark and Jason of Manassas were Sunday evening dinner guests of the Reeves.

Mrs. Lester Yates and daughter, Janet Yates of Front Royal were Sunday dinner guests of Elder and Mrs. W. T. Daily in Luray.

Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead and their houseguest, Miss Addie Roadcap of Charlottsville were dinner guests last Wednesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Pierce.

Roy L. Swindler entered Culpeper Memorial Hospital Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Julian Wayland, David and Becky of Lovettsville were guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Earle Wayland. Sunday their callers were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wayland, Kim and Sean of Viewtown.

Mr. and Mrs. Gay land Atkins of .Luray were visitors Sunday evening of Mrs. Catherine Brown.

Mrs. W. H. Lyne and grandchildren, Katherine and Chip Warren of Warrenton were guests over the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Cottrell in Toano and also visited Busch Gardens near Williamsburg.
