Before adjourning, the Board members present went over a proposed budget for 1977, totalling $126,645. Executive Secretary Art Warren noted that the total is some $4,000 less than last year’s budget, which included a single rather large appropriation of $15,000 for q contract study of Fauquier’s.master plan.
Member contributions to the budget, based on a formula of 20 cents per capita, were listed as follows: Fauquier, $4,760; Orange, $3,100; Rappahannock, $1,100; Warrenton, $860; Madison County, $1,940; Culpeper County, $2,640.—Ray Dilley
