Miss Deborah Lynn Barron, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard R. Barron, Viewtown, received the B.A. degree in early childhood education from Lynchburg College in Commencement ceremonies held on the College campus May 8. Miss Barron has been a member of Fishermen, the Big Sister program and the Virginia Student Education Association. She is a graduate of Rappahannock County High School.□

The May meeting of the Rappahannock County Garden Club will be held at the Rappahannock County Recreation Center at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 19. Bring your own lunch and something to drink, and ice will be provided. There will also be a plant exchange; bring something from the garden.
