Panthers win
Perry Breeden slammed a home run over the left field fence in Tuesday’s game with Madison to give the Rappahannock Panthers a 7-6 win. After trailing Madison 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning with two men on base and two outs, Breeden saved the day and gave the Panthers a second place standing in Skyline District.
The Panthers stand 8-2 in the District and will travel to Grottoes Friday to meet Montevideo for the deciding game.
