PLANS for the restoration of the old Mt. Salem Baptist Church are now underway, according to Mrs. Barbara Reid, who has been named treasurer of the project, Contributions to the restoration fund may be made to her at Box 75, Castleton, 22716 or may be made at the Rappahannock National Bank in Washington.
The second meeting of the Mt. Salem Restoration Association was held May 6, and great interest has been shown, said Mrs. Reid. The Association has 36 charter members. Anyone wishing to be involved may become a charter
