Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley were in Brightwood Sunday to attend the birthday celebration of their niece, Michelle Newton, at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Newton.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hitt, Cindy and C. D. joined by Donna Cannon of Castleton spent several days last week at Colonial Beach and in Williamsburg.

Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Jones attended the wine festival during the weekend at Middleburg and The Plains.

Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey spent Thursday and Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Maxsell in Silver Spring, Md. William C. Hummer of Annan dale was a visitor Tuesday of die Boweys.

Mr. and Mrs. DavidStreagle and Mrs. Sarah Latham were luncheon guests Monday of Miss Louise Anderson in Culpeper. Sunday the Streagles, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and Miss Susan Latham, joined by Mrs. David Hoadley and Sarah Kearns of Falls Church, attended the Hillsdale Horse Show at New Baltimore in which Shannon and Marc Streagle participated. Weekend guests in the Latham home were Sally Mann and Vincent Nicholson of McLean.
