The advance tickets for Rappahannock boys and girls basketball games will be available at the high school on the day before the game as well as on the day of the game. These tickets will not be available at any other location. Skyline District of the Virginia High School League state the following concerning basketball games: 1. All spectators must be seated. 2. No loafing in hall or restrooms during game time. 3. Leaving the building and reentering is not permitted. 4. Anyone in possession of alcoholic beverages will be subject to arrest. 5. Throwing objects of any kind ^ will not be tolerated. These regulations have been established for the benefit of all and will be strictly enforced. □ 1 CHURCH PROGRAM The Haney Family of Falls Church will present a program at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville, Sunday, September 5 at 3 p.m. “Please come out and help us make this program a success,” said Deacon Charles Jackson, Sponsor. NOTICE —The subscription rate for the Rappahannock News will increase September 1. In Rappahannock and adjacent counties, which include Madison, Culpeper, Fauquier, Page and Warren, the yearly rate will be $5.00; all other subscriptions will be $6.50. The management regrets the necessity for an increase, but with the ever-rising cost.of materials and the climbing postal rates, an increase is mandatory.
