Frank Stringfellow of Flint Hill was hospitalized in Culpeper Saturday after he was involved in a motorcycle accident. According to Trooper S. W. Weatherholtz, the accident occurred on Route 211 west of Sperryville near Turn Bridge. Stringfellow was riding a 1976 Harley Davidson which went out of control and overturned on him. He sustained a serious shoulder injury and broken clavicle, said the officer.
John Hitt of Amissville was cited for improper backing when he became involved in a traffic collision with Billy Hawkins of Castleton. The mishap occurred August 27 on Route 642 in Amissville.
