Fortune telling, astrological chart readings, tarot card interpretation and crystal ball gazing will all be part of the festivities at the RLEP Barn Dance October 30 at Somarbeth, Huntly. Three local women, Dorothy Davis, Helen Hoi - schuh and Helen Kelby have volunteered their knowledge in these fields and will set up a booth to add to the fun that night.

A country ham is being donated to the affair by “Boo” and Frances Bradford of Bradford’s Store and Restaurant. Farfelu Vineyard and Winery, Rappahannock county’s first winery, operated by the Raney family, has donated several bottles of their finest vintage wine. Edwin “Butch” Eastham will donate a calf and Miriam Harris an English saddle in memory of her late husband, Ed Harris.

Music and square dance calling by Claude Embrey will start at 8:30. Tickets are $10 per person,
