Students at Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly held a mock presidential election last Monday, and President Ford won with 50% of the vote. Democratic contender Jimmy Carter came in second with 44% of the student vote; Eugene McCarthy and James Buckley received 3% of the vote; and “no preference” ballots accounted for the remaining 3%.
