Engagement
announced
Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland A. Settle of Flint Hill have announced the engagement of their daughter, Patricia Ann to Steven Dwight Cowgill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Cowgill of Slanesville, W.Va. In the early spring, Miss Settle will attend Piedmont Technical School of Nursing, Culpeper County.
Mr. Cowgill graduated in 1974 from Hampshire High and is selfemployed. A spring wedding is being planned. □
Tree sale
Boy Scout Troop 143 of Castleton will be selling Christmas trees and decorations made by the boys, on the grounds of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Sale days are Saturday, December 11 and Saturday, December 18 only, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
The church is located on Route 522 between Woodville and Boston at “Scrabble.” This is a new Troop and the support of neighbors and patrons will be appreciated. □
