Ka|»|Nihann«M*i Vmm Staff 1 ritrr After an executive session at last Wednesday's special meeting, the Rappahannock supervisors announced that the new combined position of zoning administrator and building inspector will be a two day per week job at a $6,000 yearly salary. The board will name someone to fill the post at the September 8 meeting.
At the request of the supervisors, registrar Ruth Kilby will prepare a plan for redistricting the county. Rappahannock’s five magisterial districts must be redrawn to ensure equal representation under “one man, one vote" guidelines.
According to commonwealth's attorney Douglas Baumgardner, redistricting must be completed by December 31, 1981, reflecting the new population figures of the 1980 census.

Rape Charged
An Amissville man is one of two individuals charged with forcible rape of a 20year-old Warrenton woman that occurred Saturday night on Route 603 in Fauquier County.
James Weston Phillips, 24, of Amissville and Ronald Lee Pollard. 24, of Casanova are being held in Fauquier County jail in lieu of $25,000 bond. Attorneys for the pair were appointed in general district court on Monday and preliminary hearings have been set for September 10.
According to the Fauquier Sheriff’s Department, deputies answered a call at 11:30 p.m. from someone who was awakened by a woman screaming in the woods near the Prince William community of Greenwich. Reportedly, the deputies saw a vehicle carrying the two men and the victim, who said she'd been raped by both suspects, coming out of the woods.
