Mrs. Judy Hitt of Castleton has announced the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Miss Kathy Pederson to Alan Knighting, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lee Knighting, also of Castleton.
Miss Pederson and Mr. Knighting attended Rappahannock County High School. He is employed by the Pepsi-Cola Company in Warrenton.
The wedding will take place Sunday, September 20, 1981 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray T. Cannon in Castleton.

The Flint Hill Extension Homemakers will sponsor : free blood pressure checks at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department’s open house this Saturday. August 29, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Blood pressure checks, which take only a few minutes, will be administered by the VFD's shock trauma and cardiac technicians.
The public is invited to take advantage of this free medical service. The extension homemakers will also serve refreshments at the open house.
