Prospect P-TA Will Sponsor Music Event A musical program, featuring Smoky Graves and his WLV'A en tertainers. will he presented at Prospect School Tuesday. Feb. 24. at 8 p. m.. under auspices of the Prospect P-TA. Food and soft drinks will be sold during the evening. Proceeds will be used to aug ment funds for improvement to the Prospect School building and grounds. Plans for the entertamment program were voted by the P-TA at its regular meeting February 16. All patrons and friends of the school have been urged to sup port the program by P-TA offi cers. New Canton Student On Dean’s List At Westhampton Miss Martha Clark, of New Can ton. Va.. has been named to the Dean's List at Westhampton Col lege for the first semester. Dean Marguerite Roberts announced to day. The Dean's List is composed of those students who have main tained an average of 90 or above during the previous semester in all their academic work Miss Clark, a Spanish maior at Westhampton. made a straight-A record this semester. She is presi dent of the Spanish Club and is a member of the Future Teachers of America. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Clark.
