Double Check I heard and saw where the Democrats were trying to pass a tut in taxes to the Republicans up in Washington and the Ad ministration don't want it. And tlie Democrats are gi ttnig togeth er in all sorts ol conclaves for tlie good of the party an. for the good of the county—and that the Republicans can't produce the •uighful atrocities that they charged the Democrats with dur ing tlie great campaign of 1952. WHO ever thought L.ey could?— Folks just fooled themselves. Now we are on that long long trail- and it's a winding. Lincoln days and Jackson days Bond-a montli and if n you don't watch 'em they'll be back together again. So mixed you can't oil one from tother. As the skunk said when the wind changed—now it all comes back to me. One guy writ in saying . . be kind to birds—the dove brings iicace: the slo:k. he brings exemptions—both tax and draft.
