Mr. and Mrs. E. R Jones went to Amelia Tuesday to spend a few days w 1 t h Mr. and Mrs. Jim Murphy. M>\ and Mrs. E. P. Hicks were n Richmond Sunday afternoon to ttend the funeral services of Au gust. Steffenhagen, of Clayville. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Fred T. Hick's Mr and Mrs. A M Racer, and hvoe daughters, h a v e returned home after be’ng in Charleston. W. Va ove>- the week end where they attended the interment serv ers of Mrs Racer's father. Dr. Joseph E Banovitch, who died very suddenly at his home her Thursday. He had not been very well for some '■me. but had been able to be out ■n his car that day attending to matters of business, and some of uts nearby neighbo-s had seen him st. n for his mail that afternoon.
