To amend Regulation No. 4 to : -ad as follows: That it shall be lawful to hunt bear, statewide, from December 15 - January 5. inclusive. That it shall be unlawful to kill bear of less than seventy-five pounds live weight. To amend Regulation No. 99 to read as follows: That it shall be unlawful to hunt deer of either ex with bow and arrow from October 15 to November 1. dates inclusive, ex cept where there is a closed gen eral hunting season on deer. Pro vided. however, it shall be unlaw ful to use a crossbow or poison arrows at any time for the pur pose of hunting wild buds and wild animals. To amend Regulation No. 1 to read as follows: That the season for hunting deer shall begin the third Mon day in November and close Jan uary 5 statewide, with the fol lowing exceptions: iaI In the counties west of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in Patrick County and in that section of Amherst County west of route No 29 and in Nelson County vest of route 151, deer may be hunted from the ^third Monday in No vember for six consecutive hunt ing days only, and, in that sec tion of Bland County east of highways 21 and 52 and that sec tion of Giles County west of New River deer may be hunted only for two days. November 22 and 23.
