Tarheels Visit Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Reece, of Winston-Salem, N. C., spent Wednes day with Mrs. R K. Jones. Mrs C. Garland Hutcheson was hostess at a luncheon Friday honor ing Mrs. H. C. Rucker and Miss Lawrence Baugliam, who were cele brating their birthdays. Guests were Mrs. Joseph McConnaughey, Mrs. W C Lester, Mrs. J. T. O'Neal. Mrs H. A Jenkins. Mrs. W. H. Ellett. Mrs. E. H. Burke, Mrs. J. D. Rand. Mrs. J. B. Mason and Dr. H C. Rucker. Kelly Hardy was the guest of her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. George O Hardy, Jr., while her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter K. Hardy, of Vienna, accompanied by Charles A. Tilman, III. were in Henderson. N. C . for the week end.
