Alexandria Flower Show
The ladies of Rappahannock have taken the honors long enough, Saturday R. M. Menefee entered in the Alexandria Flower Show the unique flower arrangement depicting a hunting scene, which he and Mrs. Menefee had made, won first prize for Mr. Menefee, an album of records. This same ex* bibit won the Tri-color award for Mrs. Menefee in the Rappahannock Garden Club.
Also shown at Alexandria in the name of the Rappahannock .Garden Club w as Mrs. Menefee’s "Johnny Apple Seed” arrangement. This was not shown for competition, only as an exhibit. The judges left a note on the arrangement stating it wis very .beautiful. The Alexandria club had hot heard of the Rappahannock club, .they > . were delighted to know of its'ex-' istehce and hoped next year they would exhibit with then).
Unique Riding Crop '

Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Reid received a very unique riding crop ? last week from their son ‘C.G.’ in Argentina. The crop is hand-made plaited end the handle is a fawn’* foot.
