This afternoon, September 28, at 3 p,m. over WNBW (Channel 4), Washington, D. C., there will be presented a television show featuring Virginia apples.- "*
Mrs. Irene Geiss, home demon* stration agent of Arlington, is handling the show on WNBW. Members of the Virginia State Apple Commission have worked with the extension editors of VPI in planning and producing this 9-minute story of Virginia apples. Although you will see it on black and white, it will be an experimental color-television show;' however, color can be seen only oft •WNBW. • .*m\
Growers over the state generally believe that television offers tremendous possibilities in merchandizing of the apple crop. Rappahannock growers are urged to make every effort possible to see this show and send their comments to the county agent’s office. '>
