Washington Home Demonstration club will meet at Fire House, October 5, at 7:30 p.m. (Notice: this meeting is scheduled for Thursday night instead of Wednesday night as regularly set.)
Sperryville Jr. 4-H club will meet at school, October 6, at 11.

Huntly Home Demonstration club plans a picnic for the youth in the community, October 5, starting at 5:30. This picnie will be held on Reager school lot.
Five Home Demonstration clubs met last week: Huntly H.D., Flint Hill H.D., Sperryville H.D., Slate Mills H.D., and F. T. Valley No. 2 H.D. They took up varied topics for demonstrations. The Huntly and Flint Hill clubs studied “Meat Cuts and Cookery.” Mrs. Lewis Harrison and Mrs. Henry Mills gave the demonstration on this subject at the Huntly club, and Mrs. Fannie Eastham and Mrs. G. W. Smith gave the demonstration to the Flint Hill club. The agent demonstrated “Salad Making” to the Sperryville club; “Meats and Cookery” to the Slate Mills club, and “American Cheese” to the F. T. Valley No. 2 club. The Failcatalogue was the main topic of business. - Speaking of the Fair, why don't all of you women readers enter something in the Fair? There ar* awfully nice prtefes being offered. Read the list of Department II in liie catalogue and see if there isn’t something you can enter.
