Lieut R. J. Petersen
Mrs. R. J. Petersen received a letter from Lieut. Petersen last week stating he had been shot twice in the leg, above his ankle. The leg was broken »nd t henerves and muscles of his leg shattered.
Lt. Petersen arrived on the West Coast the first of this week. In a telephone call to his wife he said he expected to be in Walter Reed Hospital by the end of this week. He also told his wife she would have a lot of shopping to do as he lost everything in Korea."
