RECOVERS FROM FALL

W. E. Duncan of Amissville is recuperating' from the effects, of • painful accident suffered some weeks ago. While riding in a low chair in his wagon, the wagon struck a rock and Mr. Duncan was thrown out. Holding to the. reins to prevent the horses from running away, he was pinned against the wagon as the horses backed up. It was thought at first that possibly he had crushed his, ribs or torn them loose from the spine, but he is recovering nicely ,at the present time. | Recent guests in ' the Duncan home have included two grand* children, two great-grandchildren, and a daughter from North Carolina, and Mrs. Margaret Emerson and two children of Washington, n, C.
