ORDINANCE

WHEREAS, the recent spread of rabies among foxes, dogs, domestic and other animals in Fauquier and Loudoun Counties has jeopardized the health and safety of the people and animals in Rappahannock County,

WHEREAS, there is proof that a dog was bitten by a rabid fox in Rappahannock County, and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to enact an ordinance to prevent the further spread of rabies in this County,

NOW, THEREFORE, at a special meeting duly and legally called on December 22, 1351, the following ordinance is hereby proposed for passage by the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County under the authority of sections £9-195, 29-196, 29-188.1 and 1 .3 c,t the Code of Virginia of 1550:.
