School Pageant Postponed
Dae to the heavy snow, the Christmas Pageant to he given Thursday evening, December 20, was postponed. The date for its giving" has been re-set for “Little Christmas,” Sunday January 6, 1052.
The music classes of the school had worked very hard to prepare that “Little Christmas” would be this program and it was found an appropiate time to give it.
“Little Christmas” is not widely celebrated except in the churches. The date of January 6 is taken as the time of the arrival of the Wise Men bringing their gifts to the Holy Child. Through custom, most Americans celebrate the arrival of the Wise Men simultaneously with the birthday celebration on December 25, joining the Angels’ songs with the Star’s appearance and the arrival of the Magi bearing their gifts.
