Mrs. William Warner Miller
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, December 28, from Washington Baptist church for Mrs. W. Warner Miller, who died Friday, December 21, in Front Royal hospital following an illness of several months.
Mrs. Miller, a native of Illinois, spent her early life in Fredericks^ burg, moving to Rappahannock in 1887.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her hunband, and two daughters of her first marriage to the late P. B. Richardson, Mrs. G. <5. Callahan of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Mrs. J. G. Surlee of Newport News, and four grandchildren, three boys and one girl, children of Mrs. Surles.
Rev. M. E. Sliger and Rev. R. H. Sroggins officiated at the services on Sunday and interment was in the Masonic cemetery at Washington. Pallbearers were C. E. Giles, Downing Wood, W. A. Arthur, Virgil Updike, Dr. J. P. Snead, Herbert Foster, and E. M. Jones.

and Mrs. C. O. Calhoun left Friday to spend the holidays in Cumberland, Md., with their parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Imbach of Florida visited Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Johnson on Friday-enroute to their home in Maryland.
Mr. and Mrs. Ned Hopkins of Macon, Georgia, are expected to spend the holidays with the latter’s •mother, Mrs. R. L. Rudasill.
