Funeral services for Miss Emily Armstead Berry, SO, who died at University f Virginia hospital Sunday after a brief illness, were held Tuesday, January 1, from Geest Funeral Home, Culpeper, conducted by Rev. W. F. Gale of Culpeper Baptist church.
Mis Berry, daughter of George F. Berry and Mrs. Lucy Barr Berry, of Rappahannock, is surivied by a sister-in-law, Mrs. George Berry, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Culpeper, and pallbearers were Charles Hawkins, T. L Marlin, Otis Thornhill, Wilhem Johnson, E. E. Johnson, and John W. YoweU, Jr. T

Mrs. Will Keyser and son, Joe entertained on Christmas Day at dinner Dr. and Mis. Edward Keyser of Front Royal, Mrs. W. A. Miller, and daughter, Miss Evelyn Tyler Miller, John Caskie, and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Keyser Sr.
Mr. and Mrs. Doug Keyser and son, Magruda of Williamsburg arrived Saturday to spend New Year’s weekend at Pleasant View. Additional dinner guests on Sunday of Mrs. Keyser twere Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Keyser.
Mr. and Mrs. V. H. Keeler and Earl Keeler have returned to their home here after a short visit with relatives in Maryland and Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. James Thornton, who spent the Christmas holiday with Mr. and Mrs. James W. Fletcher, left Tuesday for their home in Athens, Georgia, where Jimmy is attending school at University of Georgia
