Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Gore had as their guests for the New Year week end Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Hoggard and niece of Portsmouth.

Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Johnston and their two daughters, Carolyn and Kay returned Wednesday after spending the Christmas holiday with Mrs. Johnston s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Tanner of Charlottesville.

Mrs. Jack Bruce and Mrs. George Wood spent several days during the holidays with relatives in Washington, D.C.

Miss Ruth Clark of Woodville spent Christmas Eve with Mr. and Mrs. Roadcap Atkins of Amissville.

Miss Olie Gay Poe of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Poe.

Mrs. R. C. Hite, Mi-s. W. B. Kilby, and Mrs. Aylette Buckner visited Miss Mary Stark in Woodville on Friday.

Mrs. Charlie Compton was a recent Culpeper visitor.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cioud had as their dinner guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Clatterbuck and son, El-wood of Amissville.

Miss Gladys Kite spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. Mary Hill.

Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Anderson of Arlington spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Ltham. The Andersons have recently returned from a trip to California where they visited Aubrey Anderson, and Mrs. I. R. Woodworth, their daughter, in Sacramento.
