Mr. and Mrs. Upton Weakley spent Christmas holidays visiting relatives. Christmas Eve they were with Mr. and Mrs. James Henry Blankenbaker for dinner, Christmas Day with Mr. and Mrs. .Jesse Weaver for dinner and for supper with Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Hitt, all of Clupeper.
Mr. anti Mrs. Gilbert Updike entertained Thursday evening at a Rook party. Those playing were Mr. and Mrs. Stan Weaver, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Compton, Mr. and Mrs. Upton Weakley, Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, Shirley Weaver and John Weaver.
Mr. and Mrs. Maury Brown had as their weekend guests Mr. and Mrs. Julian Reagan and baby of Richmond. Their daughter, Mrs. Maurice Shirey of Front Royal, also was their guest during last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Burford Eubank of Roanoke spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis J. Turns.. Mrs. J. Frank Jones spent Christmas in the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Turner.
Miss Helen Zinn of Washington, D. C. spent the Christmas holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Zinn.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wayiand had as their week-end guests Julian Wayiand and Miss Betty Tong of Washington, D.C. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Wayiand and their guests visited Mrs. Florence Washer in Front Royal.
Sunday guests of Mrs. Henry* Hitt were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Southard of Alexandria and Virginia and Hushel Settle of Castleton.
'Gene Jenkins of Frederick. Maryland was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cloud during the Christmasxholiday.
Mrs. Preston, Browning and P. M. Browning, Jr., of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ripley of Amherst, Mass., were guests of Miss Annie Stephenson at “Cedar Cottage” on Friday.
