Four Sliger Brothers
See Sister Married
Rev M. E. Sliger of Flint Hill was one of four brothers present at Highland Park Baptist church, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Saturday afternoon, December 29, when their sister, Miss Dorothy Regina Sliger, became the bride of Ghover C. Lee of Cleveland, Tennessee.
Rev. M. E. Sliger of Flint Hill and Rev. M. K. Sliger of Pensacola, Florida, were the officiating ministers at the ceremony; Rev. Fred Sliger of Tallahassee, Florida, presented the nuptial music; and the fourth brother, John W. Sliger, gave his sister in marriage. This fourth brother enjoys calling himself the black sheep of the family because he isn’t a preacher, and he teases the three minister-brothers by saying he "works for a living." The sisteu also, was a trained church worker, having graduated from the Woman's Missionary Union Training School, Louisville, Kentucky, and for the past two years was employed by the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board.
Mrs. John P. Sliger, mother of the bride, was assisted by her daughters-in-law at the dinner following the wedding ceremony.
