In the absence of a physician, the druggist is called upon to meet all situations from grit in the eye to third degree burns. He must be able to give people both effective first aid supplies and first aid information and also, in emergency when no physician ife available* to apply ; - first aid measures himself. To' qualify him for this work he is grounded thoroughly in First Aid in the college of pharmacy.
