Mrs. Verlie Johnson Gore, 65, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Gender, in Front Royal.
Mrs. Gore, daughter of Henry Johnson and Mrs. Mary Shanke Johnson, was born in Sperryville andlater made her home in Washington. Following the death of her husband, Edgar W. Gore, six years ago, she made her home in Front Royal with her daughter.
Mrs. Gore is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gander of Front Royal, and Mrs. Thomas L. Brown of Griffinsburg; two grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters: John W. Johnson ef Hagerstown.; Oscar C. Johnson of Zanesville, Ohio, Lawrence E. Johnson, Miss Nannie C.. Johnson, and Mrs. Betsy Harrell of Sperryville.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal, with interment in Sperryville cemetery.
Mrs. Della E. Goodwin
Funeral services for Mrs. Della E. Goodwin were held May 5 at Gordonsviile Baptist church, with interment in the church cemetery.
Widow of Rev. Hugh Goodwin, Mrs. Goodwin was a daughter of Arthur Eastham and Sarah Ann Harris Eastham, of Texas and Rappahannock. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. E. W. Brown of Washington; two daughters and a eon.
Mrs. E. W. Brown, Mrs. Elizabeth Harris DeBergh, Mrs. B. R. Cox, Mrs. George H. Davis, and Mrs. Carson Anderson were among those from Rappahannock attending the*services.' .

Mrs. Holmes * Hall will entertain the two Missionary Societies of the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Saturday, May 17, 2:30 p.m. in her home, "Shingle Shanty.” Mrs. Hall extends to the members of both societies a cordial invitation.
