Mrs. Lucille Hi Eheart and daughter, Miss Madeline Eheart were guests on Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Singleton.

Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Johnston and 'daughters, Kay and Carolyn Keith, attended “Mother’s Day services at Fairview Christian Church at Hood, on Sunday, and ■were dinner guests of * Mr. and Mrsr C. B. Tanner in Charlottesville.
Mr, and Mrs. Joe Henry Aylor and two children spent the weekend at the Lee Highway Hotel with Mrs. Della Howard. Mrs. Janies Yates, who was the guest Of Mr. and Mrs. Ayor in ■Arlington for two weeks, returned to her home at the Lee Highway Hotel with them.
Mr. and Mrs. Reid Biedler, of Washington, D.C., were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Racer.
Mrs. E. J. Singleton and daughter and grandson, Mrs. Clarice S. Mundy and Billy Mundy spent Thursday in Charlotteville where Mrs. Singleton went to University Hospital for her usual check-up and they also visited Mrs. E. J. Head. Week-end guests in the Singleton home were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Singleton of Washington, D. C., Mrs. Doris Mathews and three children of Alexandria.
First Mate and Mrs. C. G. Reid, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Dan S. Price and son, Dannie, of Front Royal, C. M. Price, of Washington, D.C., were dinner guests of Mrs. J. W. Price, of “The Maples” Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood entertained at dinner on Friday evening at "Erin.” Those present were Mr. and Mrs. John S. Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie Jr., Mr. and Mrs. D. Lyle Miller Jr., Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. Zula Sealock, and Miss Louise Schwartz.
Mrs. Alexander Gordon has returned to her home, after spending several months in Baltimore.
Mrs. , Della Partlow spent last week with her grandson, Mf. and Mrs. Cletus Burke, of Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer and Miss Louise O’Bannon attended the services at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Culpeper on Sunday morning. ' Miss Louise Schwartz wras a guest on Sunday of Miss Annie Stephenson.
Mrs. Lloyd Llewellyn spent Tuesday afternoon with Miss Virginia Tapp.
State Senator Curry Carter, of Staunton, visited his sister, Mrs. W. F. Moffett on Saturday.
