Circuit Court

The May term of Rappahannock Circuit Court convened Monday, May 12, with Judge J. R. H. Alexander presiding.

No cases were tried, but several were Continued to the July term.

John W. Piice, Jr., qualified to practice law at the Rappahannock bar.

William Bywaters was appointed by the Court as trustee of the Amissville Baptist church.

Visiting lawyers present for the session were Mrs. Helen M. Jefries, John L. Jeffries, III, and) Robert Button, of Culpeper: and H. F. Minter and John W. Price, Jr., of Front Royal. Lawyers of the county present included Commonwealth Attorney R. V. Snead, Parole Officer W. F. Moffett, Jr., George H. Davis, Jr., and James W. Fletcher.
