The three larger parties were given hy Mr. and Mrs. William Lyne of Sperryville, Cap*, and Mrs. H. C. Warwick of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Empty Russell and Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford entertained jointly six tables of bridge. The Lyne's gusts who were playing bridge were Miss Louise O’Bannon, Mrs. Zula Sealock, Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. Corrie Eastham, Mrs. Carroll Menefee, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. William Kilby, Mrs. John Davis, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Robert Menefee and the hostess, Mrs. Lyne.

A high score prize was given to every table. Mrs. Corrie Eastham of Sperryville drew tHe door prize and Mrs. Wolf of Marshall carried the cake home.
The Flint Hill P. T. A. wishes to thank every person who 'made the entertainment a success both socially and financially. Especially does it want to express its appreciation to the Russell Bros, for the use of the building, the door prize, and many other courtesies. The amount of $51.70 was realized.
