Mrs. J. W. McClaskey entertained a dinner party on Sunday at the Leo Highway Hotel. Her guests were Mr. and Mrs. Armistead Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schomaker, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Armentrout, Mrs. O. S. Wrenn and Mrs. Henry Leiber all of Washington, D. C., Mrs. Annie Taylor Bruce, Miss Betty Taylor Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Taylor and their son, John Lee. After dinner, the guests were invited to “Grandview,” the home of Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, where several hours were pleasantly spent in visiting. Mrs. J. W. Fletcher, Rev. and Mrs. Paul Thompson were in Charlottesville fpr the day Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Dorsey and Karen Dorsey of Whittica, California -.saere-.guests--Sunday night* and-Mob*-" day of Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daily. On Tuesday night their guests were Elder and Mrs. W. A. Holmes of Newton Iowa, Mrs. Jewel Brumback of McLean, Florida and Elder Robert Vass of Woodlawn, Virginia.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Simpson and children were Sunday dinner guests of Mr, and Mrs.’Aubrey Keyser at “The Oaks.”
Mrs. Robert L. Massie entertained for Sunday night’s supper Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith and sons, G. W. Jr., and Charlie, Mr. and Mrs. James Yates and family, Miss Ann Yates and James Jr.
