Sperryville I 4-H members hel^ * short project meeting Monday to decide on summer projects and completing records. Reager 4-H Gub met Monday aftemopn. The main feature of the meeting was club exhibit of project work completed so far this year. Mrs. Mabel Lizard and Mrs, Frank Cafy acted as judge of project exhibits and" awarded following awards: So You’d Like To Sew, Joyce Pritchett, blue. Catherine Mahoney, white. Merle Waters, red. During business meeting plans for camp were discussed, and reported on County Council was given by Carolyn Williams. Belle Meade 4-H met Wednesday morning. Betty Sisk presiding, The club voted to send four delegates to camp paying $4.00 of their way. Delegates selected were Holly Updike, Rachel Deal, Walter B. Kilby and Robert Martin. Alternates were Betty Sisk and Eugene Aekins. Rachel Deal baked sugar cookies and explained how to make them to the group.
The 4-H'ers had a very good exhibit and ribbons were awarded to Rebecca Fincham, blue; Rachel Jenkins, red; Betty Sislc, red; Holly Updike, yellow and Jean Kennedy, yellow.
Forest Grove 4-H met Wednesday afternoon. The chib decided to pay a dollar towatd two delegates to camp. Those elected were Jimmy Allans and Barbara Cubbage. . .
