RAPP’K GARDEN CLUB

The Rappahannock Garden Club met at the home of Miss Ethel Long on August 27 with ten members present. Mrs. George Taylor gave a talk on "Narcicci."

In the arrangement exhibits, the following prizes were awarded:

1st—Mrs. E. M. Jones.

2nd—Mrs. Charles Estes.

3rd—Mrs. S. E Hening.

In the Horticulture ckiss:

1st—Mrs. Gilbert Weakley.

2nd—Mrs. J. .W. McClaskey.

3rd—Mrs. Gene Wood.

BRIDGE PARTY

Mrs. Robert L. Massie entertained the Washington Bridge Club on Friday evening. Her guests were Mrs. J. W. Price and her house guest, Mrs. Clay Mason of Roanoke College, Mrs. Charles Bruce, Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. D. D. Miller, Mrs. Lock Burford, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs. H. C. Warwick, Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. Paul Miller and Miss Minnie Williams. After the game the hostess awarded prizes to Mrs. Mason for high score, Mrs. Pric$, traveling, and Mrs. J. E. Keyser consolation followed by refreshments.
