I don’t know how my vote will •be cast, come November. I’ve never voted Republican, and I’ve never believed in a military man as head of the civil government. Our nation’s history shows that such men are not listed as successful presidents in any large percentage. I’m not convinced that Mr. Eisenhower is the exception to prove the rule.
A fellow has to be judged somewhat by the company he keeps, and some of Mr. Stevenson’s company is far from my liking.
