Supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louise Mills and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Burke on Christmas Eve were iMr. and Mrs. Raymond Mills and son Bobby of Inlet, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Younger of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. William Lowman, the Rev. C. B. Judd, Mrs. A. R. Judd and Miss Helen Judd of Cordova, and Mr. and Mrs. Eulis Compton and son David. Besides seeing Santa Claus visit the the children, the occasion was also a celebration of Mr. Mills’ 64th birthday. All the rooms were decorated with red and green, including the dining table and birthday cake.
Mrs. Charles Younger of Arlington spent the holiday with her mother Mrs. Charles Settle. Mrs. Younger and Mrs. Settle and family spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Dodson of Amissville.
Mr. and Mrs. Brue Settle had as their guests over the holiday Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Settle of Alexandria, Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Settle and son of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke and son, Danny of Culpeper, and Miss Aloa Deal.
Mrs. Gene Hensley spent the holiday with relatives in Elkton.
Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Mills during the holidays were A. R. Judd of Alexandria, Mrs. Elmer Judd of Groveton, Miss Helen Judd of Cordova, Ernest Mozingo and Mrs. Ralph Estes of the vicinity.
