S. C. Broyles, Veterans’ Training Instructor and L. B. Hepretty, Soil Conservationist, are assisting with the publicity and the program for the demonstration. All Agricultural Agencies working with farmers are interested in this type of demonstration due to its educational values in progressive agriculture. The adaptability of power equipment to conservation farming is of vital importance to all farmers. All farmers are urged to attend on Thursday, December 11 at 10 a.m. J. VV. Fletcher, beef cattle farmer, Sperryviile, is installing an open ditch and tile drainage system. Wet areas in cropland and pastures are being eliminated by the drainage systems. J. Rodes Brown, owner of a farm near Sperryviile, is straightening the channel and sloping ditch banks to provide better drainage and ^0 prevent frequent flooding of adjacent areas.
