Guests of R. L. Miller of “Poplar Shade’ on Sunday were Mrs. Frank Moffett, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr. and their three children, Frank, Page and Jean Carter, nieces and nephews of Mr. Miller.. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Johnston and their two small daughters, Kay and -Carolyn spent the Christmas holiday in Charlottesville with Mrs. Johnston’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tanner. Miss Louise Strother Miller of Charlottesville, who is spending some of her vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller of “Millermead,” left Friday for Ohio, where she will spend sometime with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Critzer spent Christmas Eve night and day with Mrs. Critzer’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Keyser of Luray. Mr. and Mrs, L. V. Merrill had as their dinner guests on Saturday, Mrs. Charles Aylor and Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Aylor and son Roy D. of Aylor. Mrs. D. B. Burton and daughter, Mrs. L. V. Merrill visited Misses Gladys and Frances Dulaney of Etlan on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Don Glick and son, Larry of McGaheysville were Christmas guests of Mrs. Glick’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C R. Racer. Tuesday evening Mrs. Racer and her house guests, Mr. and Mrs. Glick and Larry , were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Edmonds of Front Royal.
