Guests during the Christmas holidays of Dr. and Mrs. L. Wake were Mrs. Maude Wake, Dr. and Mrs. 0. W. Wake and son, Gary, all of Lynchburg; J. H. Lauck, Mrs. J. B. Lauck and children, Mary and John P., all of Front Royal. Mrs. James Oden was a dinner guest Christmas Eve, of Miss Annie Miller Almond. Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood had as their dinner guests on Christmas Day their parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Reid and daughter, Miss Gladys Reid.

Mrs. W. M. Stuart had as her guests for a few days during the holidays her niece, Miss Mary Stuart and friend of Beltsville, Maryland. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Johnston and daughters, Kay and Carolyn were guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Turner of Charlottesville during the holidays. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Johnston at their . home, "Boxwood Garden," were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Tanner and family, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Tanner of Charlottesville. Other guests in the same home were Mr, and Mrs. Keith Johnston and daughter, Janet of Front Royal.
